Flop Digital Product Downloads (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) provides digital product delivery and file management services for merchants using Shopify to power their online stores.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when merchants install or use the App in connection with their Shopify stores.
1. Information We Collect
a. From Merchants
When you install the App, we automatically gain access to certain types of information from your Shopify account through Shopify’s API, including:
Store name and contact email
Products and variants (to attach digital files)
Orders and customer email addresses (to send download links) (We are not storing them)
Store settings and webhook configurations
We also store the digital files and metadata you upload (e.g., filenames, file size, product association).
b. From Customers (End Users)
When a customer purchases a digital product from a merchant using our App, we may collect:
Customer name and email (to deliver download links)
Order ID and purchase details
Download activity logs (e.g., IP address, timestamp, number of downloads)
We collect only the minimum information necessary to fulfill digital delivery and ensure security.
We use collected data to:
Deliver and manage digital files to customers securely
